What Makes CrossFit Currahee Different?

CrossFit Currahee started out as a small group individuals with a diverse mix of strengths, deficiencies, goals, and experience levels and one thing in common–a love of growing stronger together and supporting each other on the journey.

In the early days of Currahee, we worked out in a garage. The results we achieved were significant and specific to each individual’s goals. Soon it was time to set new goals and to make room for more people to join our community. A few short months later, the Crossfit Currahee Campbell location was born.

Now our team is full of expertise and years of coaching experience with Brute Strength Training coaches and Working Against Gravity Nutrition coaches on staff. We have strong partnerships with chiropractors, physical therapist, and functional medicine doctors to provide the most responsible approach to your health and fitness.

At Currahee, we train for life, for health, and for mastery of our body and mind. Currahee is a Cherokee word that means Stand Alone––it is our responsibility as a gym to empower our members with the courage, confidence, and physical ability to stand alone. In WWII, the 101st Airborne Division adopted the word Currahee as their motto, but added on an additional piece––Stand Alone, Together. We believe that together as a community, team, and coaching organization we will each obtain greater health, fitness, and happiness than we ever could alone.
