Biography

CrossFit Coach / Brute Masters Athlete

Heather grew up participating in many sports, with competitive soccer at the forefront.  She played at the varsity level for 4 years and traveled the west coast playing at the premier league level until she was 18.  Her plan was to play collegiate soccer, until she tore her ACL shortly before leaving for school.  Through this experience, she became passionate about functional movement, biomechanics, and injury prevention; earning her degree in Exercise Physiology.  It wasn’t until she discovered CrossFit in 2010, where she continued to learn that good movement and mobility is paramount to the longevity of any athlete.  Through CrossFit she found herself constantly challenged and humbled, and it reignited her competitive drive.

Heather is a 2-time CrossFit Regional Team Athlete, is CrossFit Level 1 certified, and started nutrition coaching after a demand to educate others.  What she loves most about coaching is helping others discover a belief in their own potential. She wants to pay it forward and educate athletes to build strong mindsets, to understand nutrition and health, and to gain personal confidence. She believes that it’s important to remember that we all start somewhere and that success is a direct reflection of many years of hard work, constant learning, being humble, coachable, understanding fundamentals, patience, and consistency in daily effort.  She lives by the saying, “How you do anything is how you do everything.”
